OUR BRAND
At one point or another, each of us comes across an object that gives us a certain special feeling. It could be a precious item handed down from a loved one, an object found at a flea market, or a product at a store that seems like it was designed specifically for us. Gold Wave Good’s aim is to capture that feeling in each and every one of the products we make. We’re sick of people throwing things away. Keep our aluminum tin containers after you are done burning the candle. Wash them out, use them again.
WHO WE ARE
Gold Wave Goods is run out of a studio in a cream city brick building built in 1881 on the coast of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, WI. Each product and fragrance designed is inspired by past experiences, memories, and travels meant to evoke a certain sense of well-being.
HOW IT’S MADE
We try to support local manufacturers and source the best products and materials we can find. Our candles are poured in our studio using U.S.A. produced soy wax and a blend of essential oils and high quality fragrance oils. We always design and develop products with the best manufacturing processes in mind. We’re real people who genuinely care if you are happy with your order.
THE INITIAL BURN
When lighting your Gold Wave Goods cotton wick candle for the first time, be sure to allow a consistent burn for 2-3 hours or until you achieve a melt pool (liquefied wax on the top layer of a burning candle) from each side of the container. It is important to maintain a ¼ inch wick height. This means you may have to trim your cotton wick to a reach a ¼ inch height. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning and dripping. Always keep a burning candle within sight. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets. Trim candlewicks to ¼ inch each time before burning. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. Never extinguish a candle with water. Be sure the candle is placed on a stable, heat resistant surface.
